Being hearing-impaired as a child, I learned to understand the world verbally only after first being able to communicate with pictures. To this day, my first language is interpreting my surroundings visually. 

My second language is music. Playing in a band informs my approach to design — rhythm, experimentation, communication, collaboration. Conveying meaning symbolically — is what I enjoy.
